I can't really sit and do one thing. As a result, I almost always have something on in the background, and in 2022, I think that was TV a lot of the time. This was coupled with the fact that I started to seperate work and personal life more. This (suprise!) left more time for watching TV. This is a list (mostly for myself) on the shows I enjoyed a lot this year.

Severence The most visually stunning and interesting show, especially if you are into Sci-Fi. It was a tour-de-force of acting and directing. I don't want to spoil anything, but the finale was also the best episode of TV I've seen in a really long time. 10/10

The Rehearsal Aside from being exceedingly funny and a nice return to the Nathan For You style of comedy, I was impresssed by how this captured the moment of 2022 and the human condition more than any scripted (wait, was this show scripted?) did for me. I have seen a few people say this was morally ambiguous and makes them quesy, but I say go the other way: this is reality TV with people who are real. I think most of the turning up your nose at it comes from judgement on part of the nose-haver. 9/10

The English I don't really love westerns and even the fake westerns of modern times (Django Unchained, etc.) are too campy for me, but this was a take on the western that I think anyone can get behind. It was a show that stayed in my mind much longer than anything I could've imagined would. I would recommend this to anyone. 10/10

House of the Dragon Obviously everyone knows about this. For a more interesting perspective, I loved the time jumps and think it stayed true to the things people loved about the original. It was made to be a huge hit, and it was. 9/10

The White Lotus Much talked about; I think a tad overrated actually, but I liked it. It was a good study into the characters and their archetypes with a little mystery box. 7/10
